While the whole world is paralyzed by pandemic and fear, rollicking Russians wearing masks and gloves are holding an arms exhibition in the very heart of Moscow.

In Gostiny Dvor, a stone's throw away from the Kremlin, from October the 15th to 18th the Moscow International Exhibition of Arms and Hunting Goods "ORЁLEXPO" was held – the most representative international exhibition of such scale in the complex and unpredictable year of 2020.

More than 130 exhibitors, 13200 visitors, more than 100 speakers of a large-scale business program, more than 9500 views on expert discussions broadcasts – these are only some numbers behind them are the great work of the organizers and a deep study of professional topics.

Why right now? Mikhail Hubutia, the organizer of the exhibition and co-owner of the VaRMS infrastructure project, believes that it is timely to hold such an exhibition: "It is necessary to hold such exhibitions now. The pandemic gave a chance to Russian gunsmiths to break through, and the competition at our domestic market will only grow. We have all conditions, specialists and enterprises; we can organize production of any complexity in Russia. Within the framework of the exhibition we have organized a wide business program – forums and meetings so that the heads of Rostech Corporation, Russian ministries and companies could come to joint decisions. In recent years, many were more interested in reselling foreign products. Hunting weapons from the USA, Germany, Italy and Austria cannot come to us because of sanctions, but the import is still dominating the market. But we are also developing high-tech weapons. Russia has always had enough talented designers and developers of new technologies, and we have to clear the path for them. Our task was to ensure communication of all participants of the exhibition and organize a complex dialogue. And this task has been brilliantly fulfilled.

The business program of the exhibition includes 12 expert discussions with representatives of key federal ministries, leading arms manufacturers, representatives of Russian regions, hunting and shooting communities.

The pandemic has changed a lot in the balance of forces and priorities – for example, an unprecedented rise is observed in the field of domestic tourism, hunters and shooters rediscover the vast Russia for themselves, and thus we will have new shooting ranges and hunting grounds. That is why the theme of hunting tourism aroused special interest. Liliya Shur-Trukhanovich, the director of the Department for development and regulation of foreign economic activity of the Ministry of Economic Development, noted the importance of reducing bureaucratic barriers and the need to work out a program of issuing electronic visas. A proposal for hunters and travelers was presented by the largest Russian region – the mysterious Yakutia, where, according to Andrey Fedotov, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to the Russian President, it is possible to organize hunting and fishing for all tastes. The Russian authorities are ready to support domestic arms manufacturers. As Dmitry Kapranov, director of the Department of Conventional Arms, Ammunition and Special Chemistry of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, noted at the session "International cooperation and competition for the domestic market of civilian weapons": "Our task is to create conditions for manufacturers, to ensure competitiveness of their products, including the growing interest of foreign buyers". Also Russia intends to simplify access to hunting for citizens, and Andrey Filatov, Director of the Department for Hunting Management of the Ministry of Nature of the Russian Federation, said: "The Ministry aims to support the activities of legal entities engaged in game propagation and providing services to hunters and is working to reduce barriers and the number of papers for hunters. Russia will undergo major changes in legislation to simplify access to hunting.

The pandemic forced even the giants of the Russian market to start diversifying production and reorientation towards civilian users. The most famous of them is Kalashnikov Group. "If before the crisis we were working on several main products that were exported, then during the crisis period we introduced about 40 new products that were not previously produced and positioned them on the market" - said the first deputy director for operations and production system of the Kalashnikov Group of Companies Mikhail Nenyukov.

Due to the growing interest in hunting and shooting, as well as the growth of domestic production of weapons, much attention was at the exhibition was given to the training of the young generation of Russians in the use of weapons. The children's patriotic movement is reviving, the young civic movement participants are mastering various types of weapons, and this is a separate market for Russian manufacturers who offer weapons "to grow into".

The excellent organization of the event allowed the guests and participants to get acquainted with new models of civilian weapons and equipment at the stands of the best Russian gun brands, where they were admiring new models of weapons, optics and equipment. Russia is mastering new weapons horizons – for example, a unique virtual project VaRms was presented at the exhibition. The visitors were able to look at the weapons, disassemble them, assemble them, go to the virtual shooting gallery, practice and get consultations using a VR Helmet. The project plans are to make a virtual representation of hunting grounds, where you can virtually walk hunting trails and routes, compare different hunting facilities, and choose one of them. The release of the online version of the application is scheduled for the autumn of 2021. In the future, Russia is ready to surprise with projects where the real meets the virtual – a new infrastructure project, which will open near Moscow, was presented on the exhibition. These are several different shooting ranges in one building, stores, arsenals, equipment rental, training bases and virtual reality. "On the area of about 10,000 square meters there will be shooting ranges of different directions, representative offices of manufacturing companies, as well as virtual reality ranges, where you can choose any digitized weapons and get the full range of sensations as on a real hunt.

The Russians also remained faithful to themselves at the exhibition – in addition to weapons, there were films about Russian weapons, hunting and traveling, lectures about delicious food and wines. The Russian "ORЁL" took off high and confident – perhaps, foreign manufacturers should find an opportunity to present their products in Russia as well, before the local manufacturers redirected the market to themselves completely. As they say: "a Russian man harnesses the horse slowly but drives fast". The Russians have harnessed slowly, but are more than willing to develop their production is very fast.

In Gostiny Dvor, nur einen Steinwurf vom Kreml entfernt, fand vom 15. bis 18. Oktober die Moskauer Internationale Ausstellung für Waffen und Jagdwaren ORЁLEXPO statt – die angesehenste internationale Ausstellung dieser Größenordnung in diesem komplexen und unvorhersehbaren Jahr 2020.

Mehr als 130 Aussteller, 13200 Besucher, mehr als 100 Referenten im groß angelegten Business-Programm, mehr als 9500 Aufrufe von Übertragungen der Fachdiskussionen – das alles sind nur Zahlen, hinter denen eine großartige Arbeit der Organisatoren und umfangreiche Beschäftigung mit Fachthemen stehen.

Warum ausgerechnet jetzt? Michail Hubutia, Organisator der Ausstellung und Miteigentümer des VaRMS-Infrastrukturprojekts, hält es für angebracht, solche Ausstellung jetzt durchzuführen: «Solche Ausstellungen sind im Moment notwendig. Die Pandemie hat den russischen Waffenmeistern die Chance zum Durchbruch gegeben, und die Konkurrenz auf unserem Binnenmarkt wird nur zunehmen. Wir haben alle Voraussetzungen, Spezialisten und Unternehmen, wir können die Produktion jeder Komplexität in Russland organisieren. Im Rahmen der Ausstellung haben wir ein breites Geschäftsprogramm organisiert. Foren und Treffen, damit die Leiter der Rostech Corporation, der russischen Ministerien und Unternehmen gemeinsame Entscheidungen treffen können. In den letzten Jahren waren viele Menschen stärker am Weiterverkauf ausländischer Produkte interessiert. Jagdwaffen aus den USA, Deutschland, Italien und Österreich können jetzt nicht wegen der Sanktionen zu uns kommen, aber der Import dominiert immer noch den Markt. Aber wir entwickeln auch High-Tech-Waffen. Russland hatte schon immer genug talentierte Designer und Entwickler neuer Technologien, wir müssen ihnen nur den Weg freihalten. Unsere Aufgabe ist es, die Kommunikation aller Aussteller sicherzustellen und einen umfassenden Dialog zu organisieren. Und diese Aufgabe wurde ausgezeichnet erledigt!»

Das Geschäftsprogramm der Ausstellung – 12 Expertendiskussionen mit Vertretern der wichtigsten Bundesministerien, führenden Waffenherstellern, Vertretern der russischen Regionen, Jagd- und Schützengemeinschaften.

Die Pandemie hat das Kräfteverhältnis und die Prioritäten stark verändert – zum Beispiel ist ein ungeahnter Anstieg im Bereich des Inlandstourismus zu beobachten, Jäger und Schützen entdecken das riesige Russland für sich neu, also werden wir neue Schießstände und Jagdgebiete haben. Deshalb erregte das Thema Jagdtourismus besonderes Interesse. Lilia Schtschur-Trukhanovich, die Direktorin der Abteilung für Entwicklung und Regulierung der Außenwirtschaftstätigkeit des Ministeriums für wirtschaftliche Entwicklung der Russischen Föderation, wies darauf hin, wie wichtig es sei, bürokratische Hindernisse abzubauen und ein Programm zur Ausstellung elektronischer Visa zu entwickeln. Ihren Vorschlag für Jäger und Reisende hat auch die größte russische Region vorgestellt – das geheimnisvolle Jakutien, wo es nach Angaben von Andrej Fedotow, Dauervertreter der Republik Sacha (Jakutien) beim Präsidenten der Russischen Föderation, es ist möglich dort eine Jagd und Fischfang für jeden Geschmack zu organisieren. Die russischen Behörden sind bereit, einheimische Waffenhersteller zu unterstützen. Wie Dmitri Kapranow, Direktor der Abteilung für konventionelle Waffen, Munition und Spezialchemie des Ministeriums für Industrie und Handel der Russischen Föderation, in der Sitzung «Internationale Zusammenarbeit und Wettbewerb für den Inlandsmarkt für zivile Waffen» feststellte: «Unsere Aufgabe ist es, Bedingungen für Hersteller zu schaffen, um die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit ihrer Produkte zu gewährleisten, einschließlich des wachsenden Interesses ausländischer Käufer». Auch ist es geplant, in Russland den Zugang zur Jagd für einfache Einwohner zu vereinfachen und Andrej Filatow, Direktor der Abteilung im Bereich Jagdwirtschaft des Naturministeriums der Russischen Föderation, erklärte dies zu seiner Hauptaufgabe: «Das Ministerium bemüht sich, die Aktivitäten juristischer Personen, die in der Wildzucht tätig sind, die Erbringung von Dienstleistungen für Jäger gewährleisten zu fördern und Barrieren und die Anzahl der Papiere für Jäger zu reduzieren. Russland wird große Änderungen in der Gesetzgebung vornehmen müssen, um den Zugang zur Jagd zu vereinfachen».

Die Pandemie zwang selbst die Giganten des russischen Marktes, mit Diversifizierung ihrer Produktion und Neuorientierung auf Zivilbevölkerung zu beginnen. Die berühmteste von ihnen ist die Kalaschnikow-Gruppe. «Vor der Krise haben wir an mehreren Hauptprodukten gearbeitet, die exportiert wurden, und während der Krisenzeit haben wir etwa 40 neue Produkte auf den Markt gebracht, die vorher nicht produziert und positioniert wurden», sagte Michail Nenjukow, erster stellvertretender Generaldirektor für Betrieb und Produktionssystem der Kalaschnikow-Gruppe.

Angesichts des wachsenden Interesses an der Jagd und am Schießen sowie des Wachstums der heimischen Waffenproduktion wurde auf der Ausstellung dem Umgang mit Waffen der jüngeren Generation von Russen große Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt. Heutzutage gibt es eine Wiederbelebung der patriotischen Kinderbewegung, junge Bevölkerung beherrscht verschiedene Arten von Waffen, und dies ist ein separater Markt für russische Hersteller, die Waffen «zum Hineinwachsen» anbieten.

Die ausgezeichnete Organisation der Veranstaltung ermöglichte es den Gästen und Teilnehmern, sich an den Ständen der besten russischen Waffenmarken mit neuen Modellen ziviler Waffen und Ausrüstung vertraut zu machen, wo man neue Modelle von Waffen, Optik, Ausrüstung bewunderten. Russland meistert neue Waffenhorizonte – daher wurde auf der Ausstellung ein einzigartiges virtuelles Projekt VaRms vorgestellt. Die Besucher konnten in einem Helm der virtuellen Realität sich eine Waffe anschauen, zerlegen, zusammenbauen, zum virtuellen Schießstand gehen, üben und sich beraten lassen. In den Plänen des Projekts ist es eine virtuelle Darstellung von Jagdgebieten zu entwickeln, wo man virtuell Jagdpfade und Routen laufen und verschiedene Jagdanlagen ansehen kann, und eine aussuchen. Die Veröffentlichung der Online-Version der Anwendung ist für Herbst 2021 geplant. Russland ist bereit, in der Zukunft mit Projekten zu überraschen, bei denen das Reale mit dem Virtuellen kombiniert wird – die Ausstellung präsentierte ein neues Infrastrukturprojekt, das in der Nähe von Moskau eröffnet wird. Dabei handelt es sich um mehrere verschiedene Schießstände in einem Gebäude, Geschäfte, Arsenale, Ausrüstungsverleih, Ausbildungsstützpunkte und virtuelle Realität. «Auf der Fläche von etwa 10.000 Quadratmetern werden Schießstände verschiedener Richtungen, Repräsentanzen von Herstellerfirmen, sowie Schießstände mit virtueller Realität, wo man beliebige digitalisierte Waffen wählen und die volle Bandbreite der Empfindungen wie auf der realen Jagd erhalten kann».

Die Russen blieben sich auf der Ausstellung treu – neben den Waffen gab es Filme über russische Waffen, Jagd und Reisen, Vorträge über leckeres Essen und Weine. Die russische "ORЁL" startete hoch und selbstbewusst durch – vielleicht sollten ausländische Hersteller eine Möglichkeit finden, ihre Produkte auch in Russland zu präsentieren, bevor die einheimischen Produzenten den Markt ganz auf sich selbst ausrichten. Wie man sagt: «Die Russen spannen langsam ein, aber sie fahren schnell». Die Russen spannten schon lange ein, und sie sind bereit, ihre Produktion sehr schnell auszubauen.

Mentre tutto il mondo è paralizzato di pandemia e di paura, i sfrenati russi muniti di mascherini e guanti di protezione organizzano una mostra di armi nel cuore di Mosca.

A Gostiny Dvor, una sala di esposizione a dua passi dal Cremlino, dal 15 al 18 ottobre è trascorsa la Internazionale Esposizione di armi e prodotti da caccia di Mosca «ORЁLEXPO» - forse la più importante esposizione internazionale di tale dimensione nel problematico 2020.

Più di 130 esponenti, 13200 visitatori, più di 100 speaker dei programmi business, più di 9500 visualizzazioni delle discussioni di esperte in diretta – sono solo le cifre, che rappresentano un enorme lavoro di organizzatori e i profondi studi del contesto professionale.

Il periodo della mostra non è stato scelto a caso. Mikhail Khubutia, l'organizzatore della mostra e comprorprietario del proggetto infrastrutturale VaRMS crede opportuna la realizzazione della mostra in questi giorni: "È il momento più giusto per organizzare le mostre del genere. La pandemia ha dato agli armaioli russi la possibilità di un notevole sviluppo e la concorenza nel mercato interno continuerà ad aumentare. Qui in Russia abbiamo tutte le condizioni, esperti e imprese, possiamo organizzare la produzione delle armi di ogni tipo e livello. Nel corso della mostra abbiamo organizzato un vasto programma di forum e vari incontri perché i manager della corporazione Rostekh, dei ministeri russi e di diverse aziende potessero trovare delle soluzioni comuni. Nell'arco di ultimi anni molti di essi erano più interessati di gestire il business rivendendo i prodotti importati invece di sviluppare la produzione russa. Anche se a causa delle sanzioni nel mercato russo non arrivano più le armi da caccia dagli Stati Uniti, da Germania, Italia e Austria, la parte da leone della produzione nel mercato russo comunque provviene dall'estero. Tuttavia anche in Russia vi progettano le armi di alta tecnologia. La Russia è stata sempre ricca di progettisti e sviluppatori di nuove tecnologie, basta solo farli posto al mercato. Ciò che dovevamo fare – è fornire la possibilità di communicazione e di dialogo per tutti i partecipanti della mostra. E ci siamo riusciti a farlo!"

Il programma della mostra comprendeva 12 discussione di esperti tra i quali sono stati i rappresentanti dei ministeri fondamentali, i più importanti produttori delle armi da caccia, i rappresentanti delle regioni russe, delle socità di cacciatori e di tiratori.

La pandemia ha cambiato l'equilibrio del potere e delle priorità – si verifica un notevole aumento del turismo interno in Russia, molti cacciatori e tiratori riscoprono le immense distese della loro patria – il fatto che dà una spinta alla formazione dei nuovi poligoni di tiro e gli allevamenti di caccia. Il tema del turismo da caccia ha suscitato il paricolare interesse. La direttrice del Dipartimento di sviluppo e di regolarmento dell'economia internazionale presso il Ministero dello sviluppo economico di Russia, Lidia Sciur-Trukhanovič ha sottolineato l'importanza della riduzione delle barriere buricratiche e la necessità di elaboramento del sistema di rilascio di visti eletronnici. La misteriosa Jakuzia, la più grande regione russa ha presentato un programma speciale per i cacciattori e i turisti. Secondo Andrej Fedotov, il Rappresentante della Repubblica Sacha (Jakuzia) presso il Presidente della Federazione Russa vi sarebbe possibile organizzare le caccie e le pesche di ogni tipo. Il governo russo è pronto a dare sostegno agli produttori di armi del Paese. Come ha indicato Dmitrij Kapranov, il direttore del Dipartimento di industria delle armi normali, armamenti e cimica speciale presso il Ministero di industria e commercio della Federazione Russa durante il suo discorso alla seduta di "Collaborazione internazionale e concorrenza al mercato interno delle armi da caccia": "Il nostro compito è creare le condizioni per le imprese produttori delle armi, per garantire la competitività dei loro prodotti, anche sullo sfondo del crescente interesse degli acquirenti stranieri". Inoltre in Russia intendono semplificare l'accesso alla caccia per i cittadini, che il direttore del dipartimento della caccia del Ministero della Natura della Federazione Russa Andrey Filatov vede come il suo compito principale: "Il ministero cerca di garantire le attività delle entità coinvolte nell'allevamento della selvaggina e nella fornitura di servizi ai cacciatori, e sta lavorando per ridurre le barriere e la quantità di documenti per i cacciatori. La Russia deve affrontare grandi cambiamenti nella legislazione per semplificare l'accesso alla caccia".
La pandemia ha costretto anche i colossi del mercato russo a iniziare a diversificare la produzione, riorientandosi verso gli utenti civili. Il più famoso di loro è il gruppo di società "Kalashnikov". "Se prima della crisi lavoravamo su un elenco limitato di prodotti principali che venivano esportati, poi durante il periodo di crisi abbiamo lanciato sul mercato circa 40 nuovi prodotti che non erano stati prodotti o posizionati prima", ha detto il primo vicedirettore generale per le operazioni e il sistema di produzione del gruppo di società "Kalashnikov" Mikhail Nenyukov.


Alla luce del crescente interesse per la caccia e il tiro, nonché della crescita della produzione interna di armi, durante la mostra è stata prestata molta attenzione alla formazione delle giovani generazioni di russi all'uso delle armi. In questo momento, c'è una rinascita del movimento patriottico dei bambini, i membri dell'organizzazione "L'esercito dei giovani" stanno padroneggiando vari tipi di armi, e questo è un mercato speciale per i produttori russi che offrono le armi di piccole dimensioni.



L'ottima organizzazione dell'evento ha permesso agli ospiti e ai partecipanti di conoscere nuovi modelli di armi ed equipaggiamenti civili presso gli stand delle migliori marche di armi russe, dove sono stati soddisfatti dei nuovi modelli di armi, ottiche ed equipaggiamenti. La Russia sta esplorando nuovi orizzonti per le armi: ad esempio, alla mostra è stato presentato un progetto virtuale unico VaRms. I visitatori potevano, indossando un casco di realtà virtuale, guardare l'arma, smontarla, montarla, recarsi in un poligono di tiro virtuale, esercitarsi e ottenere consigli. Il progetto prevede di creare rappresentazioni virtuali di allevamenti di caccia, dove sarà possibile percorrere virtualmente sentieri e percorsi di caccia, confrontare diversi allevamenti di caccia e fare la propria scelta.
Il rilascio della versione online dell'applicazione è previsto per l'autunno 2021. In futuro, la Russia è pronta a sorprendere il mondo con i progetti in cui il reale è combinato con il virtuale: un nuovo progetto infrastrutturale è stato presentato alla mostra, che aprirà vicino a Mosca. Si tratta di diversi poligoni di tiro in un edificio, negozi, arsenali, noleggio di attrezzature, basi di allenamento e realtà virtuale. "Su un'area di circa 10.000 mq saranno presenti poligoni di tiro di diverse direzioni, uffici di rappresentanza di aziende manifatturiere, oltre a poligoni di tiro con effetto di realtà virtuale, dove potrai scegliere qualsiasi arma digitalizzata e ottenere una gamma completa di sensazioni come in una vera caccia.


I russi sono rimasti fedeli a se stessi alla mostra: oltre alle armi, sono stati proiettati film sulle armi russe, la caccia e i viaggi, sono state proiettate conferenze su cibi e vini deliziosi. La "ORЁL" ovvero l'Aquila russa è volato sicuro e sempre più in alto - probabilmente, i produttori stranieri dovrebbero trovare l'opportunità di presentare i loro prodotti in Russia, mentre i produttori locali non hanno completamente riorientato il mercato a se stessi. Come dice il proverbio russo: "Si imbrigliano lentamente, ma vanno veloci!" I russi si stavano preparando per molto tempo e sono pronti a sviluppare la loro produzione molto rapidamente.
